Devmatico is a software studio founded by two partners. All our time goes into our own products: one is live, one is in private beta. Everything here is about where they stand and what we've learned along the way.
Why products, not an agency
We both worked on the agency and corporate side before. What we learned there: good software is written by people who live with the problem every day. So we chose to build our own product and run it ourselves — we read the support tickets and the invoices.
When the team grows we may take client work. For now we don't; two people can't do three things well at once.
Staying small is a choice
Two people, no fixed costs, no outside investment.

Every feature comes after at least five interviews.
